All of these plans were designed specific to and crafted in either handcrafted log elements, handcrafted log post and beam elements, or dimensioned complex timber framed post and beam elements. Descriptions of all designs and their architectural building system elements are noted in the paragraphs below, and the elevations or finished photos and the floor plans can also be viewed in the photo galleries. All of these designs are also available in any of White Eagle Building Systems methods of construction, as noted in our Package Selections web page.

The Snow Valley is a Scandinavian full scribe handcrafted log designs, using full Western Red Cedar log walls in combination with log post and beam elements. Log work averages 12"-14" average mid span diameter, while butt ends can reach over 20' diameters. Larger diameter log walls are also available as an option. Amenities Include: Four full bedrooms, six baths, a large open great room, two fireplace units plus a wood stove, a 2-3 car garage with an upper bonus area, a beautiful front porch, large open deck, log gazebo and much more. Large log floor joists and roof purlins, skillfully fit to perfection, display the meticulous handcrafted trade, while exterior balance and symmetry offer pleasing curb appeal. An open log stair and log handrails invite your guests to the open loft and study above. A lower office and exercise area is perfect for the professional's home requirements, and the design provides plenty of storage and great utilization of space. Strikingly unique and comfortably warm, this design is very popular.

The Caribou Ridge is a smaller handcrafted log design, also drawn from the inspiration of The Snow Valley. Our client had commissioned our company to develop the design, and supply the foundation and concrete slab, along with the log work for this project. We successfully delivered these items, and the project is now completed and one of the most outstanding log homes in it's area. The home sits on a high wooded lot, overlooking a beautiful lake and other log homes that White Eagle Building Systems has also built. A beautiful front entry, an open log trussed car port, an award winning kitchen and butler's pantry, and an attractive fireplace and staircase are a few of the many amenities that make this design a timeless and popular choice. With a well planned finished basement, there is plenty of room to enjoy log home living at it's very best.

The Spring Brook is an attractive cape cod styled timber frame design featuring exterior wood siding and stone. With 2,845 square foot on the main and upper levels, this design showcases complex heavy timber joinery of Douglas Fir timbers. A spacious open floor plan and finished lower level combine for a total of almost 5,000 square foot of finished living space, all in a moderate foot print. As in all of our timber framed packages, other standard package material items include a high performance SIPS panel enclosure, tongue and groove wood ceilings, high performance Loewen windows and exterior doors, curved knee braces, chamfered edges, and much more. Added curved round hammerbeam trusses are spectacular over the great room, while exterior king post truss elements adorn the front and rear gables. Solid raised panel doors, heavy timber stairs, stainless steel appliances, hardwood and ceramic tiled flooring, and radiant floor heating are also among the many options included in this completed project. An outstanding kitchen layout is a major focal point of this design, and located adjacent to an open dining and great room. Heavy timber stairs lead to the upper bridge and upper floor. Two large bedrooms, baths, and closets in a mirror image layout are perfect for two children, guests, or other. An open first floor office, full laundry room with a folding table, and a main level master bedroom and large master bath all complete the list of standard amenities. An attractive prow shaped deck is perfect for grilling or relaxing on, or you may choose to enjoy the stoned terrace level below. A finished lower level plan adds a fourth or fifth bedroom/reading parlor, another bath, a large open family room with a wet bar, and a game or media room. The Smokey Gap is an older design that we continue to get many calls on. Drawn by hand before we had CAD capability, this design has been recreated in CAD, and with some new modifications. The plan features Scandinavian full scribe Western Red Cedar log work, expertly crafted to exacting tolerances. Large Douglas Fir roof purlins, log floor joists, and log girders carry all roof and floor loads, and Western Red Cedar posts support the loads. A log truss and two prominent posts in the great room speak of the strength and character of the beautiful wood applications. At 2,244 square foot of finished floor space, this timeless design offers an attractive and uncomplicated layout. A high impact open kitchen, dining, and great room are perfect for the company of guests, or for simply enjoying a quiet supper and relaxing by an open fire. Retire to the master bedroom in private comfort, while children or guests can enjoy the loft and upper bedrooms for rest. The kitchen is a central focal point, with a large spacious design and plenty of glass in the high gable above. The log stairs and an abundance of log handrails accent the workmanship and a wrap around porch is yet another wonderful amenity. Included in the mini prints are: Four elevations, three floor plans including a combination lower level/foundation plan, room sizes, building dimensions, roof pitch information, window and door sizes and/or general notes on window styles. Full construction drawings with full customization of plans is also available.
